Interior Flooring
Upgrade plain interior concrete into a clean, finished surface that is easier to maintain and built for everyday life. ArmorPro Coatings Ohio installs high-performance epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating systems for interior spaces across Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, and Portage counties.
Your floor gets professional prep and a system chosen for your space, not a quick paint-style application. Expect mechanical surface preparation, moisture evaluation, and a finish that looks sharp while standing up to real household use. Choose a clean, solid look or a Full Flake Broadcast System for added texture and style.
Where Interior Flooring Make the Most Sense
- Basements and lower levels
- Laundry rooms and utility rooms
- Mudrooms and entry areas with concrete
- Home gyms and hobby spaces
- Interior workshop-style rooms and storage areas
Interior Coating Options You Can Choose From
Your interior flooring does not have to be a single, flat gray surface. We offer systems and finishes that help you match your style, lighting, and how you use the room.
- Polyaspartic base coat with a polyaspartic top coat for a fast-curing, high-performance system
- Epoxy base coat with a polyaspartic top coat for a durable, finished system with flexible design options
- Full Flake Broadcast System for a textured, decorative finish that also helps hide imperfections and everyday wear
- Optional slip-resistant additives (helpful in laundry areas, entry areas, or anywhere moisture may get tracked in)
- Choice of sheen, from a more subtle finish to a higher-gloss look depending on the space
The coating is only as good as the prep. Mechanical surface preparation and moisture evaluation help set the foundation for long-term performance.
What Makes an Interior Floor Coating Last
Mechanical surface preparation
We mechanically prep the concrete so the coating can bond properly and finish evenly.
Moisture evaluation
Interior slabs can hold moisture, especially in basements. Checking moisture helps match the coating system to your floor conditions.
Repairs where needed
If the floor has minor spalling, pitting, or surface wear, we address what is needed so the finished coating looks better and performs better.
High-performance materials
Epoxy and polyaspartic systems are selected for durability, cleanability, and finish quality in residential spaces.
Our Interior Floor Coating Process
- Site evaluation and moisture checks We look at the slab condition, usage, and moisture indicators to help you choose the right system.
- Mechanical surface preparation We prep the concrete for proper adhesion and a uniform finish.
- Detail work and repairs We address surface issues that impact appearance and performance.
- Base coat application We apply the selected base coat (epoxy or polyaspartic) to build a strong foundation.
- Full flake broadcast (if selected) Flakes are broadcast for a complete, consistent look and added texture.
- Top coat application A protective top coat seals the system for durability, appearance, and easier cleaning.
Color and Finish Guidance for Interior Spaces
If you have never chosen a coating finish before, here is a practical way to narrow it down:
- For brighter basements: lighter blends and higher reflectivity can help the space feel more open
- For utility rooms: mid-tone blends hide dust and everyday scuffs well
- For home gyms: finishes that balance traction and cleanability usually work best
- For hobby spaces: a flake system helps hide small marks while still looking sharp
Care and Maintenance
- Sweep or dust mop regularly to reduce grit
- Use a gentle cleaner and a soft mop for routine cleaning
- Light-reflective finishes that improve visibility
- Use felt pads on furniture legs when sliding items across the floor

What if my concrete has cracks?
Concrete can crack for many reasons. We can address surface issues and talk through realistic expectations based on the slab condition.
What warranty applies to interior floors?
ArmorPro Coatings provides a Limited 1-Year Adhesion Warranty on coating installations other than residential garage floors, unless otherwise stated in writing. Residential garage floor installations include a Limited Lifetime Adhesion Warranty. Warranties do not cover concrete cracking, impact damage, chemical staining, normal wear and tear, misuse, or abuse.
